Summer 2026 · Portland, OR
Sound becomes movement becomes sound.
Homebody is a nervous-system friendly gathering for bodies in motion. Live acoustic music — unamplified or close to it — movers who play, musicians who move. A wave of sound and movement that builds, peaks, and dissolves.
Intimate enough to feel the whole group. There are no steps to learn, no performance expected, no cool points required. Rest is always a full contribution.
Grounded. Earthy. Earnestly weird.
For people who love moving and being moved.
You love music and moving without performance or masking.
You value connection, consent, and earnest participation.
You like wholesome. You don't mind a little dorky.
This is an alcohol-free space — plant medicines welcome with care and intention.
Each gathering features live acoustic music — unamplified or minimally so. No PA, no DJ, no walls of sound. Just instruments and voices in the room with you, close enough to feel the breath behind them.
Freeform, somatic-friendly, responsive — all styles welcome, all instruments welcome. The music follows the flow. The flow listens back.
Musicians are invited to move. Movers are invited to make sound. The line between player and participant softens.
Musicians announced as each gathering approaches.
Each gathering has its own theme and energy.
We begin with Arrive. Come plant the seed.
Just your body, good music, and a room full of kind people.

We gather on the ancestral lands of the Multnomah, Kathlamet, Clackamas,
Tualatin Kalapuya, Molalla, and many other peoples.
We enter with care, curiosity, and a willingness to listen.
